Whether a life was long and full, or heartbreakingly brief, every story deserves to be honoured.
Some lives are marked by grand adventures, others by quiet moments. Some are filled with joy, others with challenge.

Whatever the journey, I will work with you to create a ceremony that reflects the truth of that lifewith compassion, dignity, and care.
Together, we’ll shape a farewell that brings comfort, connection, and meaning to those who gather.

Hello ...

I'm Jo, your celebrant, storyteller and moment maker.

People often ask why I became a celebrant. The truth is, I’ve always loved stories, especially the ones that mark a turning point in someone’s life.

The vows whispered between two people in love.
The laughter of a family welcoming a new baby.
The quiet power of a life celebrated and remembered.

After over a decade immersed in the art of crafting and leading meaningful gatherings, I trained and qualified as a celebrant. It brought together years of experience in storytelling, ritual and public speaking. It felt like a natural step, where my love for people, words and life’s most significant moments could truly shine.

I work closely with every couple, family or individual to create a ceremony that feels true to them, joyful, heartfelt and never just read off a script.

Whether you’re planning a wedding, a vow renewal, a naming ceremony or a memorial, I’ll be there to guide you, support you and celebrate with you.

When I’m not writing ceremonies, you’ll usually find me with my partner and kids, enjoying the little everyday moments that mean the most. And when I get some quiet time, I’ll have a crochet hook in hand, creating something colourful, stitch by stitch. It’s my way of slowing down, being present and letting creativity flow,  the same energy I bring into the ceremonies I create.

If you’re looking for someone to help you tell your story with warmth, heart and a little sparkle, I’d be honoured.
